Emphasizing that the office will not only run an election campaign, Tezcan said that July 26th will be a time for all social areas in Türkiye, from the economy to justice. He said, “It will be the beginning of a process of reconstruction.”
STRUCTURING PROCESSTezcan described the work to be carried out under the office 's coordination as "a restructuring process that will resolve all of Turkey's structural problems." He noted that three separate units will be established within the office: "Turkey Policies, Institutional Relations, Media-Communications," and "Administrative, Financial, and Legal Affairs." Tezcan emphasized that the work to be carried out within the office will not be stagnant, but will progress in a continuous manner.
CHP ON THE FIELD IN AUGUSTTezcan stated that the Presidential Candidate Office, whose official opening will be held on July 26, has already begun its work, and made the following statements:
Work on the government program continues at desks established under the coordination of the office. Our PM members, YDK members, and members of parliament will be on the ground in August. Meanwhile, our Party Program work continues. We will be conducting extensive desk and field work to prepare our presidential candidate's government program. We will be meeting face-to-face with voters and NGOs in all 81 provinces of Türkiye. We will also incorporate the feedback we receive from the field into our work.
Regarding the government program to be prepared, Tezcan commented, "It will be a commitment to how and with what vision CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu will govern Türkiye." Noting that İmamoğlu's messages to the public will be conveyed through rallies and social media, Tezcan emphasized that İmamoğlu, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP presidential candidate, will be brought together with young people, women, and all segments of society.
CHP's Tezcan also reiterated the slogan of his presidential campaign, "Justice first, freedom first, for everyone, everywhere." Tezcan stated that society's priority is the economy, and concluded his remarks as follows:
Unemployment, poverty, and the high cost of living are undoubtedly very serious problems. However, injustice is at least as important as the economic crisis among Türkiye's top priorities. We are walking with the dream of a great Turkey where all of these issues will be resolved. Our goal is a Turkey that is prosperous, growing, and where wealth is shared fairly. İmamoğlu hasn't stopped working even while in prison, where he is being unjustly held. He continues to work for Turkey. He will convey his message to society very clearly. We demand immediate elections. Regardless of when the elections take place, we will continue to work for the reconstruction of Türkiye.
